Well, let’s face it, (nearly) everyone, children and adults alike, loves dressing up in fancy dress. In my opinion, one of the best opportunities to do this is at Halloween. Apart from the obvious vampires and other characters from tales of horror, a lot of people go for the superhero vibe. You certainly can’t beat a good muscle costume!

With the exception of female superheroes, you would be hard pressed to find a superhero who doesn’t sport a muscle costume. There’s Iron Man, Batman and his sidekick Robin, Spiderman, Captain America, Wolverine, all manner of Power rangers and the Incredible Hulk; to name but a few. Some outfits focus on the chest muscles, others the entire upper body, and some go for the total muscle-bound body look. There’s something for everyone.

If you think about the attraction of the muscle costume and the superhero, then it is all to do with the idea that somebody can be transported from their mundane everyday life because of their secret magical super powers, and be transformed into someone who can save the world from the ravages of evil dastardly criminals.

The appeal of these outfits fires the imaginations of all age groups, especially at Halloween. There’s nothing cuter than to see a whole family of superheroes out in their fancy dress costumes – toddlers, boys and adults. On this site, I intend to bring you the best of the best.
